Kim is a purveyor of FUN.

Passionate about the idea that fun and play are healthy and vital for people of all ages, she creates experiences that encourage adults to reconnect with their inner childlike sense of wonder and play. 

To her, creativity is paramount. She is inspired to imagine ideas, big & small, and to bring those concepts to life through a variety of mediums.

Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, Kim is a graduate of the prestigious Punahou School and top-ranked women’s college Wellesley College, where she earned a B.A. in Psychology. She immersed herself in the Arts, studying Art History, Studio Art, Architecture, Theatre, Film, and Music at Wellesley and in the UK at Boston University London’s Arts/Arts Administration program. A graduate of Scratch DJ Academy and Puppet School in Los Angeles, she’s a believer in lifelong learning, completing a specialization in Digital Storytelling & Multi-Platform Strategy at UCLA Extension and taking classes in VR/AR/XR, Immersive Theatre, Video Game Writing, and Gamification, as well as Copyediting, Copywriting, Pitching, and Entrepreneurship.

Currently creating fun and free opportunities for joy as Programming and Events Manager at award-winning mixed-use development Ivy Station, Kim is an experienced Arts & Entertainment Manager, having worked in Dance, Music, Film, and Entertainment Education in Los Angeles for nearly two decades. Her creativity and experience are also informed by her training as a video maker, dancer, musician, and puppeteer, as well as her love for theatre, immersive entertainment, and music.
